The Xlib: extension "generic...." - warning has bugged me but I've lived with it thus far. Apparently it can cause a bit of a problem though.
Every time I try to run wacomcpl I get this error:
wacomcpl: using TCLLIBPATH="[list /usr/lib ]"
Error in startup script: Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0".
while executing
"exec xsetwacom list"
(procedure "createDeviceList" line 4)
invoked from within
"createDeviceList "
(procedure "createControls" line 8)
invoked from within
"createControls"
(file "/usr/bin/wacomcpl-exec" line 1860)
zsh: exit 1 wacomcplIt actually looks like wacomcpl is catching the warning and passing it on as if it were an error, not letting me get through to the actual program. How do I get around this?
