I'm using Mediatomb to stream videos and stuff to my PS3. When I play back videos I get fairly frequent stuttering and pausing. The weird thing is, Mediatomb works fine with no stuttering or pausing when I run it in Xubuntu, which I have on another partition. If I go to the System Monitor in Arch it shows my outgoing rate as between 1.3 and 2.0 Mib/s while a file is streaming. When I do the same in Xubuntu it's showing a rate of 2.5-2.9 Mib/s. Is there a reason why it would have that much higher of a rate while doing the same thing?
Is there anything else that could be causing this? or anything I can check to find the problem? I'm pretty stumped. Thanks!
Edit: I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not, but when I look at my network interfaces I have an interface called wifi0 as well as ath0 and both are transmitting and receiving. I know it's not the same interface because the numbers aren't exactly the same, but they are approximately splitting the traffice it looks like. While I stream a video both interfaces are transmitting at about 1000 KB/s - 1300 KB/s.

Nobody? hm......
If nobody has any ideas, can somebody point me to a board that I might get a little more of a response?

Im having this same issue but with an ethernet connection. It appears to me that the network drops out for a short time while streaming. It also seams to have only just started happening within the last week.
