I'm not sure where to post this, sorry if this isn't the right forum.
I tried a SliTaz livecd and upon rebooting (I did remove the cd) I'm told that no operating system is found on my hard drive.
I booted up an Ubuntu livecd and I'm able to access the drive so I won't lose anything (didn't have anything important on there anyway), but I'd like to avoid reinstalling if possible.
Any ideas?

So I am a little unclear here.. Had you installed Arch previously on the machine?
Did you by any chance re-install grub from the Slitaz Cd?
There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

Sorry,
Yes, I already have (had?) Arch installed on the drive. I did not knowingly install ANYTHING from the SliTaz disc so I'm rather confused.

I'm just gonna bite the bullet and reinstall. I've been meaning to put everything on a bigger drive anyway. Thanks for responding guys.
