I just learned that files downloaded from pastebin.com are CRLF terminated. The CR characters should be removed to make linux (and makepkg) happy.

Here's one way to do it:

$ cat <origfilename> | tr -d '\r' > <newfilename>

I had the same problem. In fact, I still have it I guess, but I figured out at least some part of it.
The thing with that pairing over and over again is, that you don't have a "bluez-simple-agent" running. Make it run all the time and all your paired devices will reconnect back when needed.
The only thing I have not figured out, is how to retain it rinning after "suspend"?
I have put "/usr/bin/bluez-simple-agent &" in my "/etc/rc.local" file, so it starts ok when I boot up, bet after suspend it stops running. In my case I don't see gui interface of python pin helper eihter, but running the "agent" from command line does the initial pairing ok, so I dont bother.

If you use pm-utils to suspend/resume you can put a script in /etc/pm/sleep.d which runs before and after suspend/hibernate. For example, I use this script just to play a sound before and after suspend or hibernate..

btw, do you know how to arrange, that screen actually locks when lid action is triggered? It only locks if I tell it to lock by clicking "lock& suspend" button. Otherways it just suspends and comes back with an unlocked session.
