If its in Aur, there is already a package build for it. You need to install something like yaourt which will allow you to install any and all softwares from the AUR

There's no such thing as a stupid question, but there sure are a lot of inquisitive idiots !

It's all in this wiki: http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AUR_User_Guidelines
But I get "lost" when it says you have to make the package yourself I thought that why MAKEPKG was.
Anyway I haven't yet try but will.
It's OK that it' in tar.gz you have to transform it to pkg.tar.gz...

untar it... check the PKGBUILD and other files....makepkg -s.... install the package created using pacman -U....
Or you can use helper applications like yaourt.
And read the wiki...everything is in there.......

take the tar.gz from the AUR, extract it, run "makepkg" in that directory and then "pacman -U ???.pkg.tar.gz"

I've just installed my first package from AUR and it's really easy and "cool" to!
I like it.
So Sova007 I guess it's really easy and straight forward.
