kismet_drone wrt54GL problem

Hello there,

I have kismet installed on my WRT54GL v1.1 fw Openwrt whiterussian

on my /etc/kismet/kismet_drone.conf (from ssh to wrt54gl)
my source is:
source=wrt54g,eth1,wrt54g

on my laptop running archlinux my /etc/kismet/kismet.conf
my source is:
source=kismet_drone,192.168.1.1:3501,drone

this is what i get when i run kismet_drone in the wrt

.
.
.
Source 0 (wrt54g): Enabling monitor mode for wrt54g source interface eth1
channel 0...
Source 0 (wrt54g): Opening wrt54g source interface eth1...
Kismet Drone 3.1.0 (Kismet)
Listening on port 3501 (protocol 8).
Allowing connections from 192.168.0.0/255.255.0.0

i have searched through google and cannot fathom how to solve this:
"Source 0 (wrt54g): Enabling monitor mode for wrt54g source interface eth1
channel 0..."
it keeps starting at channel 0, i thought the default was channel 6

i have done all the wl commands (ap 0; passive 0; channel 6)
but still when i run kismet_drone it starts at channel 0
and when i run "wl scanresults" it shows me all the ap's around me.

if there is any tip you guys can give me, for i am so close to solving this problem.

--thnx in advance
