I'm trying to run Everquest 2 after downloading it on steam. I got the Launcher working and it patches fine, but when I launch the game with it nothing happens. I tried to launch it with the EverQuest2.exe and I get this error.
/usr/bin/wine: line 4: 5141 Segmentation fault LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/opt/lib32/usr/lib/:/opt/lib32/lib/:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH" linux32 /opt/wine/bin/wine "$@"
I saw someone get this error in the AUR with bin32-wine, but never got it resolved. It only gives me this error for EverQuest 2. I run other games like Team Fortress flawlessly, but EQ2 has this problem. I may try installing wine with the chroot method Monday and see if that solved this.

Hi nego
I'm having the same problem with Knights of the Old Republic. Did you ever get it fixed?
I see that the latest unstable bin32-win is version 1.1.17 but the AUR install still only refers to 1.1.15, which is also a broken install since 1.1.16 is hosted... ugh... too many versions.
pacman russian roulette: yes | pacman -Rcs $(pacman -Q | LANG=C sort -R | head -n $((RANDOM % 10)))
(yes, I know its broken)

Probably a Wine bug. Did you check the AppDB?
