Hi.
When I try /etc/rc.d/mysqld start it fails:
bash-3.2# /etc/rc.d/mysqld start
:: Starting MySQL [FAIL]
bash-3.2#
No reason why, have checked in /var/log put there are no mysql log file?
I have reinstalled mysql, remove the config files in /etc/ - reinstalled again, but no luck.
Any help?

do /etc/rc.d/mysqld restart.
Give what you have. To someone, it may be better than you dare to think.

Still experience problems with MySQL after the latest update. Can't seem to run it, either with start, stop or restart.
