Hey everyone,
I read an interesting post somewhere around here with this:
Basically showing how most distros are centered in red and blue...well I decided to make something that uses everything every other distro doesn't have:
Sorry the preview version looks so crappy.

The "official" color scheme is purple, grey, yellow (orange), and teal. But I suspect green and red would also play in very nicely (for conky or something).
What'ya think?

Yeah I know the purple is a little bit contrasty against the yellow. Next one will hopefully be more yellow/orange based. I bet purple is never used in a distro because its so damn hard to complement!

Haha, I like it. I suggest you host it somewhere else and not as a .bmp though.

Both look awesome, but as a few people suggested, don't use a .bmp please.

My most recent wallpaper using the "new" Arch color scheme. A little more subtle with the color play and a pretty decent bit of scenery IMO
The background is Martin - Sunset on a River part of the Milkdrop visualization to Winamp...quality is maxed out. The music being played during creation was some thumping trance

It took me a minute to realise that the image was graphing the colours in the Distro's logo... But then I worked it out and it's all cool

I also installed the matrix screensaver running on my dual monitors. Green and a yellow variation flow in with the logo/wallpaper colors very nicely. I'm surprised by how well yellow/orange and teal play with practically every other color. Now I'm trying to straddle the line between being too colorful and looking tacky (go away 1970s!). I think a green and yellow conky setup will look mighty fine in the dark left bottom corner But I just couldn't stand anymore "techno" blues or black/white or orange/black setups.
