No keyboard in TTY or X

After having to fsck my filesystem today (ext2), I have no use of my usb keyboard in a TTY. It works up until arch starts to load and then nothing.

On a rare occasion, it works, but in X I can't use the mouse or keyboard.

Re: No keyboard in TTY or X

It works on a rare occasion? Is it plugged-in real good?

And how can fsck break this? You might want to check your RAM (it's easy to do, and almost the first thing I do when my problem seems too random to be true).

Re: No keyboard in TTY or X

The keyboard is USB. I ended up going into the enviroment with a live disk and modprobing (and removing) usb. It was plugged in fine. I really have no idea why it happened, but this install has had a few quirks.
