Can someone please give me simple instructions for setting up Arch then doing all the post install stuff like setting up gnome?? also i have a belking54g wireless usb for internet and the network has WPA encryption

What every is basically saying is, there's wiki pages for a reason. Much effort has gone into them, and noone is going to, or should, redo that work if you're not willing to take the simple step of searching for this information, reading it, and following it.

You've been pointed to resources, if you're having problems you need to be more specific than just saying "I need to know x"

I'm not trying to be rude here, but if searching the wiki is proving to be too difficult for you, then you might want to consider putting off using Arch until you've learnt an easier distro like Ubuntu for a while.

Ubuntu is a great start. Also note if you can gank an ethernet cable it'll be WAY faster for loading gnome.
