Hello,
The upgrade to xf86-video-intel really improved the 2D performance (945GME here).
BUT when playing videos using xv in fullscreen, there are alternating lines (like interlaced video) near the middle of the screen. Using another method of rendering solves the problem.
I went back to the driver in extra, and everything is fine.
Did somebody else note that problem ? I find it quite anoying. In fact I switched to X11 rendering...

It's called tearing, and I think it's improved already in 2.6.29 and latest driver

To solve my problem I had to enable DRI. (It was disabled to save some power)

But now I'm having this problem when resuming from suspend to ram !!!
Hope the soon-to-come intel-legacy driver will help here ...
