I've been trying to install skype for some time now, but I can't get it to work. As I've understood it, skype is located via pacman at the community repository. So, this is what I did with the pacman conf:
[community]
# Add your preferred servers here, they will be used first
Include = /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
Now, when I try to install skype, I get the message
error: 'skype': not found in sync db
I've been trying and changing around with the mirrors in mirrorlist, , sync pacman etc but it still doesn't seem to work.
Any ideas to help a noob?

I've tried both pacman -S skype and pacman -Sy skype, both gives me the same error.

And when you do pacman -Sy skype does it say he is synchronising community repo?

core is up to date
extra is up to date
community is up to date
skype package not found, searching for group...

Yeah, no skype for x86_64, but there is a bin32-skype in the AUR you may have a look at.
