Kadu eating RAM

I doubt that I could get any help on the forums since the package isn't common, but thought that I'll try it before contacting the maintainer.

I'm using Kadu 0.6.5.1 and it is constantly eating more and more ram memory when it's running. When it starts it uses about 40mb and gradually increases that amount to 400mb in more or less 3 hours of usage. Cleaning or closing the chat window doesn't help, I must restart the program.

Anyone know what could be causing it or encountered a similar problem?

I launch kadu only every now and then, wouldn't know how it behaves after hours of running.
