Sound lag in Enemy Territory with OSS

I just switched from alsa to oss. I followed the wiki, and mpd, mplayer, flash and stuff worked right out of the box, no problems there. But when I start my favorite game Enemy Territory, I get some very annoying sound lag. The sound is there, but about a second too late. Very weird. Any ideas? Soundcard is a normal SBLive and here is output of ossinfo:

Re: Sound lag in Enemy Territory with OSS

Did you configure the game to use oss instead of alsa? Can't remember anything else.
