Songbird - no sound/freezes

Hi!

I`ve just installed Songbird, and i have some issues with that. First of all, it doesn`t play any music. When i try to play song, it just scrolls through all my music library and than stops, with no sound. In all other apps sound works. No errors in terminal. All gstreamer plugins installed, gstreamer output set to Alsa in gstreamer-properties.

It also hangs sometimes, when i transfer more than 1 song to my Ipod Nano. Also no errors in terminal.

Then only visible error i get is

Failed to load plugin '/usr/lib/songbird/gst-plugins/libgstpulse.so': libpulse.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

on a startup.

Does gstreamer work with other applications?  Try installing totem to see if it works.  I have a similar problem with gstreamer http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=69839.  It refuses to play anything.  In songbird I get an "internal data stream error"

Well, everything else related to gstreamer works fine, including Totem. Anyway, i`ve moved to Amarok now, looks like it`s handling my Ipod way better than Songbird... Even though Songbird is similar to iTunes, which i like better.
