I connected my Arch64 box to a samba share via:
sudo mount -t cifs -o credentials=/root/.smbcreds,uid=1000,gid=1000 //server/share ~/share
For some reason, it's taking 20 sec or so for me to open a folder on the share. This isn't normal; usually it's very responsive. Is there anything I can check that might be causing this slow down? The server isn't under load or disk load, and the sluggish response seems to only affect me when booted into Arch.
Thanks!
