no buffer space available

Hi, all
Please help me with the following problem: my PC with arch installed gets the internet channel through the router (wifi connection, router is D-Link, PC card is TPlink with Atheros chipset)
If I am booting without starting Xorg the internet connection works OK. Once I am starting X (even without display manager) the ping becomes slow responding, lost of packages increases to 70-80 percents and after a minute or so I am getting the error message:
ping: sendmsg :no buffer space available.

As for me X are loading some network manager process which breaks the network connection.
Please advise.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
