Re: Arch Linux Programming Language Logos

An interesting one (not one I would use, but interesting none the less) would be COBOL. wink

I think that is the closest thing to a logo Fortran has.

Re: Arch Linux Programming Language Logos

@Zeist
Any idea what font that is?

@juster
What's the icon/logo for list?

@Dieter@be
It's the 4chan logo... almost certainly the inspiration for LOLCODE if not the source (keep in mind that it's just a joke though, but so is LOLCODE).

added TeX, LaTeX and Lua

Re: Arch Linux Programming Language Logos

These are beautiful! I'd list my favorites, but I think that's all of them! (In particular, I really love the Perl, LaTeX, and Python logos, and I LOLed at the LOLCODE logo.)

Wonderful work! big_smile

Re: Arch Linux Programming Language Logos

Scala is something that I recently started using. Gives the added advantage of using Java compatible binaries, but also at the same time using a dynamic language like Ruby.

Can you add an Arch/Scala icon?

Not exactly programming, but what about a logo for Emacs? (I prefer vim, but Emacs has a pretty cool icon)

No flamewar intended.

Here's the C logo with a pixelated font. I'm not sure that it's worth pursuing.

I like.  Adds some style to the character, in a way that I think many people would associate with C.

Re: Arch Linux Programming Language Logos

Cheers Xyne, this is really well-made stuff. Especially love the LOLCODE (xD) and Perl logos.

In my opinion, you should specify a license for those svgs. Maybe a CreativeCommons one?

I KISS you.
