Hey guys. I have to set up another dial-out server, but the software I used to use is no longer developed and, as far as I can tell, is closed sourced: http://www.ttyredirector.com/
Basically, we have a Cisco RAS that we use for dialing into customers. I have to find a way to create a number of pty's that link to the Cisco, i.e:
/dev/ptyp0 -> 10.10.10.10:7701
/dev/ptyp1 -> 10.10.10.10:7701
etc.
Does anyone know of an alternative, preferably open-source so I don't run into this in the future, that would work? There wasn't last time I checked a couple of years ago that worked for me.
Also, I tried socat, but I can't get it to work the way I think it should. Could be user error, though.
Thanks
