Certificates and Archlinux!

At my work we are running Windows Vista and together with Active Directory and a certificate we can use our Wireless net.

Is there a way to use certificates within Archlinux so that my Laptop running Archlinux can use that wireless net?

Yes, no problem whatsoever, in my school we also need to use a certificate and it works just fine, it is possible to configure everything in config files or you can use the network manager of your preference (I use wicd).

Ok, since I'm on Gnome now I run the NetworkManager applet.
Want to switch to Openbox or PekWM when I get everything to work so then wicd is a good choice then?!?

I don't have any complaints about wicd, I've been using xfce and wicd for quite some time now on my notebook and it works fine.
I either plug the network cable or use wireless, either way I even forget it is there, does its job properly and doesn't bother big_smile
