Actually even if an LCD does use up less energy than a CRT, a LCD drains power for white AND black pixels. The energy "drain" is quite the same...LCD's can't make a difference between a white and a black pixel. CRT's use less energy to display a "black" pixel,( like 2 thirds of the requirement for a white one), but they still do smile

Using a console IM client is pointless if you're not using a tiling WM. Atleast start using Screen, that way your IM sessions stay alive if your X crashes or you decide to restart it. Nice setup nonetheless smile

@wraith: well i do use tiling, i was just messing around with evilwm, im usually on musa or ratpoison.

Well if you do use Ratpoison, Screen will grow on you. It's kind of the same thing command-wise, only the first controls windows, the second controls "virtual" terminals smile

Replaced my blue and cyan with xterminus' . I wanted a lighter blue and his is perfect. My dotfiles Xdefaults are updated to this new one
