There is a quirk about zlib support.
I have bzip2, but not zlib. What's wrong?
It's enabled in php.ini, and it's stock Arch
PHP 5.2.9, and the .so file is right where
it belongs in the PHP directory, next to
bzip2.
Here's a test PHP file showing settings
through localhost CGI.

<body>
<?php
echo "<p>stream_get_wrappers:</p>";
$registeredwrappers = stream_get_wrappers();
echo "<pre>";
print_r($registeredwrappers);
echo "</pre>";
echo "<p>stream_get_filters:</p>";
$registeredfilters = stream_get_filters();
echo "<pre>";
print_r($registeredfilters);
echo "</pre>";
?>
</body>
</html>

Box has multiple zlibs from Arch:
# locate zlib.so
/usr/lib/imlib2/loaders/zlib.so
/usr/lib/php/20060613/zlib.so
/usr/lib/python2.6/lib-dynload/zlib.so
Maybe related, maybe not.
