Replace portmap with rpcbind?

Are there any plans to replace portmap with rpcbind?.

Reason being that portmap doesn't support IPv6 where as rpcbind does.

Thanks for any replies.

The best place to raise this is the bugtracker. Check first to make sure it hasn't already been posted there, then post it as a feature request, with any necessary supporting info.
