Hello,
I dont know if new people introduce themselves in this part of the forum, but I wanted to say hello and to say thankyou to the creators and developers of ArchLinux. It is definitely a good change from the other distributions I have tried.
So, thankyou!

Since someone's going to do it eventually (see other hello & thanks threads ), I might as well..

Welcome to Arch

Welcome to Arch
Uh oh. I'm off to a bad start. I did do a search on "hello" but nothing came up right away and I looked at the different forum sections but somehow I didn't see the special thread for saying hello. So thankyou for being nice about it.

Hehe no worries, it would probably be accurate to say a sizeable majority miss the same thing

FrozenFox: I have often wondered what the point is of referring to that thread after the new user has posted a "Hello everyone" thread?
Miss California: Welcome onboard.

Welcome Miss California!
BTW, do you happen to know Miss Teen South Carolina?
Offline
Ashren: Probably the same purpose of making a Hello Everyone thread to begin with; the slim likelihood that someone will notice it who was about to do the same. Also.. a Hello in salute of the Arch Way -- RTFM, might as well get used to it

looks like an Arch angel to me, sent here from Bash to teach us about the ten commandlines. repent people, repent!
i personally am a follower of the flying spaghetti-code's rational alternative though:

(to appreciate the pun above you need to know that Bash stands for Bourne Again shell, and be aware of the controversy surrounding Miss California )

The day Microsoft makes a product that doesn't suck, is the day they make a vacuum cleaner.

But if they tell you that I've lost my mind, maybe it's not gone just a little hard to find...

Well, You are what You is, and that´s all it is, and here is Your KISS.:P
Hello everyone!
All women in forums are men!
That´s exactly why I needed some 20 years to find this one!;)
Stemming from the previous millenium, when even nerds were offline,
this simple quick post takes me about the same time
that I needed to install Archlinux, X/nvidia and ALSA including.
No problem to consult http://bbs.archlinux.org/help.php#bbcode frequently, but I will definitly
try a
pacman -Ruc kdemod-complete
when I´m done with it.
