I accidentally uninstalled a program

The program is dmapi, and it's essential for boot smile.  I have other computers and a liveCD.  How do I reinstall it?

Boot the live CD, chroot into your Arch install, reinstall the package.

Just curious... did pacman not give any warnings before you removed it?

You shouldn't even need to chroot, just use the --root option to pacman smile

Re: I accidentally uninstalled a program

I have to go for the rest of the day, but I'll answer some stuff here first.

@ozar: no warnings.

@fukawi2: I tried that, so I guess that means dmapi is not the only problem.  Am I right?
I also updated my system before accedentally uninstalling dmapi.  Time for a reinstall maybe.
