[solved] pidgin is not on upgrade list, though package is on mirror

it's strange:
i use this mirror ftp://ftp.hosteurope.de/mirror/ftp.arch … os/x86_64/ and everything worked fine so far.
but now following happens:
i ran

 # pacman -Syy
:: Synchronizing package databases...
 local_repo 27.5K 36.5M/s 00:00:00 [##########################################################################################################################################################] 100%
 core 33.5K 213.1K/s 00:00:00 [##########################################################################################################################################################] 100%
 extra 375.6K 316.8K/s 00:00:01 [##########################################################################################################################################################] 100%
 community 369.3K 476.3K/s 00:00:01 [##########################################################################################################################################################] 100%

pacman -Qu shows:

# pacman -Qu

Total Installed Size: 18.04 MB

pidgin is not on the list (and yes, i have pidgin version 2.5.6 installed), though as one can see here ftp://ftp.hosteurope.de/mirror/ftp.arch … pkg.tar.gz the latest version of pidgin is on this mirror.
what can possibly cause this?

vlad

PS: please delete this post. i put (i don't know why) the pidgin package in my own local repo. /me full of shame.
sorry for the noise...

Re: [solved] pidgin is not on upgrade list, though package is on mirror

I guess you have an older pidgin in local_repo. -Su analyses the first found sync pidgin only.

Edit: Hm, I didn't see that "[solved]" tag. But at least I was right. ;-)
