dhcp doesn't work on live cd

Hi,
I have yet another question: i'm trying to installl Arch, but my ethernet card (Broadcom 4311) can't make a dhcp connection, even tough the system recognizes the card. How can I make a dhcp season?

It appears I can't set up a static IP either.

This is a wireless devce, right?
You have to be associated with your AccessPoint/Router first before IP could set.
If this is wireless look with iwconfig if this shows up a wireless device.

Next steps demand how your wlan works: None,WEP,WPA(2).
Tools to associate are:
netcfg
iwconfig
wpa_supplicant

Netcfg is AFAIK well documented in the wiki...
