network-manager-applet and openbox problems

im having problems with network-manager and openbox, thing is it does not remember any password for wifi so i have to reenter it every time

i think that problem is related with gnome-keyring because i dont run gdm or any other graphical login manager, so it doesn't automatically start, are there any way to resolve this.

wicd is not an option because i connect to a lot of wifis with hidden ESSIDs and wicd is just PITA with them

only other option is to go back to netcfg which was working just fine

It would also be great to have my computer built into my skull. That way I could surf the Net during useless periods of life, such as when people talk to me.

Re: network-manager-applet and openbox problems

I solved the problem by putting

source /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.d/30-dbus

at the bottom of ~/.xinitrc

can you please post your .xinitrc, and are you using some kind of login manager?
