I've tried searching around, but I can't find a packet editor for Linux. Does anybody know of one? And I can't build Nipper so that won't do.

There is nipper-cli in AUR, have you tried that?

==> ERROR: libnipper is not available for the 'i686' architecture.
Note that many packages may need a line added to their ./PKGBUILD
such as arch=('i686').
The weird thing is i686 is in the arch variable...
Edit: I removed 'x86_64' from the arch variable and it builds now.
Edit: Nevermind, now there's an error.
[ 12%] Building CXX object CMakeFiles/nipper.dir/device/common/misc.o

addressPointer = strchr(address, '.'); //address is a const char*
I guess I'll just try to edit the source file.
Edit: For some reason now su and sudo don't work. I enter the password and when I hit enter nothing happens.
Edit: Boy, I'm making lots of edits.
Edit: That isn't the Neat Internet Protocol Packet EditoR.
The only thing that's keeping me from building Nipper is the fact that I can't find the proper directory for this:
JAVA_PATH=/usr/lib/j2sdk

depending on what you are wanting, you might look at linkcat, or one of the other paketto tools.
