My laptop is a Lenovo 3000 N100 0768-04U. My wireless works but when I have the hardware switch on and I'm connected to my router I cannot open any programs. If I want to open a program I have to turn off the wireless switch then open it. If I have the wireless off but have it connected over the wired NIC it works just fine.
I'm using NetworkManager to configure both wired and wireless NICs. My wireless card is an Intel 3945 ABG minipci card and I am using the iwilwifi-3945-unicode drivers. I'm using Gnome/Metacity.
I'm not at home right now so I'll post some config files when I get home.

Well I have isolated it to the NetworkManager daemon. I uninstalled it and replaced it with wicd to test it and the issues have gone away. I prefer NetworkManager but if it doesn't work I guess I'll have to stick with what does.
