In ArchLinux I never use another kernel, except the stock kernel.
Can I use kernel26-ice without uninstall the stock kernel?

I try in some hours to install it via yaourt on a thinkpad T500

Yes you can -- you will just have to install your video drivers and change the package name and have it be rebuilt agaisnt the new kernel... take a look at this thread:

I have a intel graphic card, and i use this driver: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=22968
I think i don't need to rebuild this driver, or I'm wrong?
