Problem with wifi at home

Hi everybody!

I'm getting crazy... We've wifi router at home, the issue is when I try to connect with my laptop to the router, I can connect, but after a few minutes internet don't work. I try to ping google but i have not any reply. This only happen under linux, in windows everything works. I try it with networkmanager and wicd, but both show the same problem.

In my last house, with different router but same model, everything works fine at same distance, maybe more, but now I've this problem. My flatmate has archlinux too and his room are farther than mine, and he can connect to the router without any problem.

If I go to the living room (where the router is) I haven't this problem, so the main issue seems to be the distance between my room and the router, but if it works until now, and my friend can connect at far distance... where is the problem?

I've the last arch update.

Thanks all!
