The AUR server seems to be in trouble at the moment.

Hopefully it isn't costly in time &/or hardware to repair.

It must be a somewhat localised problem.

Telstra employees probably caused it so they can get penalty rates working over the long weekend.

I reckon they've got a work-experience school kid in who keeps pulling fibre optic cables so he can look at the pretty lights inside the cable.

It may not be down for everyone but it is still breakage somewhere...and yes, Allan broke it for Oz and Telstra, perhaps even a few others

After a good nights sleep, I wake to find that the AUR site is once again accessible.

I offer my thanks to the dozens of Telstra tech's that have been slaving all night to fix this problem for me as I slept.
