Sorry mate, can't remember exactly which post I got it from, but it was from last month's screenshot thread. I had renamed it to grey_mosaic.png, but I'm sure that's nowhere near the same as the original filename. The wallpaper was in it's entireity, but a tile can be easily made.

1) Your LaTeX looks nicer than mine (eg: fractions look clearer and my integral signs are italic). Any idea why? Here's a screenshot of mine: http://misc.barrucadu.co.uk/emacs.png
2) What value for preview-scale-function do you have? I can't seem to get it quite right.
I looked through my dot-emacs and I didn't seem to have set anything exotic. My preview-scale-function is the default; i.e. preview-scale-from-face.
However, when preview I tell it to cache my preamble. I use kpfonts. I am fairly sure that makes the difference. You might be using Computer Modern.
I use Emacs to do my LaTeX too, but I don't do maths and such, only basic paperwork. I have an offtopic question: is this "live preview" thing available only for math signs and such, or can it be used for more general things (like if I set an area of text to be bold - display bolded, to use a bigger font - display with larger font, etc)?
Yeah there is. You want to check out fold-mode, which is even nicer than Preview-TeX, since it is all text. You run it with C-c C-o C-b (for bufffer). For example, it will highlight bold text etc. and tranform \item to * and \footnote{...} to [F]. You can also customize to fold other environments, i.e. \fxnote{...} to [fix]. You might even be able to transform \citep{author} to (author) in the AUCTeX-cvs.
Cheers,
Rasmus

Nice Desktop, I really like the way you have the window name below the window instead of above. I assume that was done with a bit of tweaking and not due to the theme? In any case, really nice and clean. Oh, is the music info on the top of the screen in the clean shot a program, or just a very clever conky script?

I say you snoop around this thread for a bit and get some inspiration. Good luck

I have a question for spupy (or anyone else who feels able to answer this). Is it only possible to change the placement of the window title (in his case, below the window instead of above) in Fluxbox, or is there a way to achieve the same effect in Openbox? If only in Fluxbox, is it a config change, or is it part of the theme? (I've been trying to get the same effect for a while, but to no avail).
Thanks in advance,
Lswest
*EDIT* And on the bottom of spupy's screenshot, is that AWN, or Cairo-Dock, or something else entirely? If so, what does the 25 above the wireless icon denote? Unread emails?
