I was using networkmanager for couple weeks, but after last upgrade it seems to crash dbus. Before /etc/rc.d/networkmanager start - I can launch work normally. But after nm start - whe I try to launch any app, e.g. dolphin I have following error:
[maciek@localhost ~]$ dolphin
No protocol specified
dolphin: cannot connect to X server :0.0
<unknown program name>(2036)/: Communication problem with "dolphin" , it probably crashed.
Error message was: "org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply" : " "Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)" "
I am using 64 bit version of Arch, with KDE, networkmanager compiled by yaourt (networkmanager-plasmoid-svn).
Also, nm-plasmoid-svn on local seems to be newer than in aur:
$ yaourt -Syu --aur
networkmanager-plasmoid-svn: (local=1023926-1 aur=1007572-1)
My rc.conf's daemons launch in this order:
DAEMONS=(syslog-ng !network dbus hal laptop-mode netfs crond !httpd alsa !networkmanager kdm)
I have internet connection after nm start, it just brokes other apps.
