Re: linux.conf.au

I'm based in Wellington and am taking the week off to attend as much of the conference as possible. It would be great to meet up with other Archers.

If you are coming from overseas and would like to tap into some local knowledge, I'm happy to help...

Re: linux.conf.au

I fly out of NZ just before it starts so I will not be going this year...  Brisbane looks to have a fairly good proposal to host the next one so I will definitely be there.

If it's in Brissy next I'll make the trip for sure.

Planning on taking some time off after the conference to check out the North Island. Did the South Island back in May and loved it.

Since work is paying for me to go, may as well make the most of being there and have a holiday too big_smile

There is plenty to see and do; but I don't want to turn this into a tourism new zealand thread smile PM me if you want a hand.

Damn. Going home in April for a holiday. Wonder if I can convince 'She who must be obeyed' to bring it forward a couple of months.

Yeah, and hitting the submit button on the registration form gives a 404 error sad

At least it did when I tried yesterday... I'll try again tomorrow morning at work!

Re: linux.conf.au

Would have liked to but probably won't have a chance. Wanted to go the the one in Tasmania but couldn't work things schedule wise. Might aim for the next one held in Australia.

Re: linux.conf.au

Hopefully I can go to the next one on the mainland. Unfortunately the timing/location has never worked out for me.
