Accesibility in the wiki

I created an accessibility category in the table of contents http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Cat … _(English). It has the excellent "Arch Linux for the blind" and other useful pages, like text to speech programs.

The official installation guide has no mention of these resources and is closed from public edits. I think that it's important that Arch is open to everyone so how about amending this?

Re: Accesibility in the wiki

I remember the Clinton White House had a policy that was later dubbed by the media as the 'crossroads policy'.  Generally, I am in favor of that.  Just my 2 bit.

Re: Accesibility in the wiki

The page you've linked to is automatically generated by looking for pages with the "[[Category:Accessibility (English)]]" tag in them I believe.

So anything that is relevant to the category, just include that tag at the top of the page...

EDIT: just reread the OP and think I mis-understood... You want the Official Installation Guide to link to the Accessibility page?

Re: Accesibility in the wiki

^ to provide a link. a slight mention, that's all.

it's not immediately apparent that resource is there. i think that most users that take advantage of these options are accustomed to assume they aren't available, specially when it comes to a semi obscure linux distro's wiki.

and to gen2ly: i might be interpreting your post incorrectly, but it'd be a sentence like "for accessible install, see link to page". it won't diverge from the page's content to the point where it's suddenly disorganized...

Re: Accesibility in the wiki

Implemented.
Also added link and mention to beginners' guide.
Let me know if the link "Accessibility resources available" is satisfactory. If not, I'll take your suggestion.
