epiphany doesn't take into account gnome proxy settings (unsolve)

Hello

I recently update epiphany to the 2.28 version but then epiphany doesn't follow the gnome proxy settings anymore.

Am I alone in this situation ? Somebody could help me please ?

(PS : It's not the topic of this thread but : does someone know how to change the epiphany user-agent ?)

What gconf values do you have in system/proxy and system/http_proxy . Make sure the mode in system/proxy is set to manual and you have the right host and port .
The fields in system/http_proxy are self explanatory .

Currently I am not behind a proxy so I can't test those gconf fields (the proxy is configure with a .pac).

But I will post as soon as I can test.

I have meet the same problem. Before update to version 2.28, the proxy setting works good, after update the browser ignored the setting . I'm using a socks 4 proxy.

It work with a manual configuration ... but it does'nt with an autoconfiguration .pac file...
