Network interfaces missing?

I freshly installed archlinux on my eee 1000 two days ago.   I have been looking for a good network manager so i installed "lxnm" to give it a shot.  Now all of my network interfaces are missing(except loopback).   I tried removing  lxnm but that did not fix the issue.  I can see the devices with "lspci".

Also, I am getting strange bahavior from the network tools.

lo       no wireless config

eth0   no wireless config

iwlist ra0 scan:

ra0     interface doesn't support scanning

Any help would be appreciated.
