Same ndiswrapper version.
I think the best thing to do would be to update... Is there a way I can take the newest ndiswrapper/kernel/dhcpcd/whatever else I need and use that? I just want my internet to work...
youre not associating with the access point so testing dhclient doesnt make sense
for the kernel: you can compile it and package it elsewhere and then install it. this is advanced but it's covered by the wiki. see compiling with abs, makepkg, etc etc

It's covered, but looks complicated...
First, I need ABS. How do I install that without any internet? It seems to be an endless cycle...
Maybe I should come back to Arch once I get a new comp... And I was looking forward to it too. I'll still try though!

SUCCESS!!! (Well, Kinda).
I managed to get the card to associate with a neighbor's unencrypted network. However, I still can't connect to my network, so my router is the problem. However, at the dhcpcd wlan0, it times out. I have dhclient from the /extra/ repo on my HDD now, so I'm going to boot into Arch again and hope it works.

Aand, I'm back...
*cheers for himself*
I completely borked my system, but managed to get back to where I was previously, with my card scanning, and associating only to non-secured networks. dhclient isn't being installed from my pkg that I downloaded, and dhcpcd is timing out. Help?

I couldn't get dhcpcd working with my new router so I replaced it with dhclient and it worked straight away.
If you've installed dhclient, you can try running it manually from the command line. If that works, you can then edit /etc/rc.d/network and replace "dhcpcd" with "dhclient".

The issue is, I can't get dhclient. For some strange reason, it isn't on my CD and if I download the dhclient tarball from the repo and put it on my HD in windows, Pacman won't install it with pacman -U
