RAID problems

Hey Guys.

I've got a new server for my MythTV setup - Which is a Dell T3400!
There's a onboard RAIDcontroller and 2disc with 1TB.
Those 2 I want mirrorred - so have tried this http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ins … r_LVM#RAID
Several times.

But each time I ending up with the reboot - The root partition isn't loaded or found - and anding up ind ramfs ??
What can I doo

I've configured this on each disc:
1  /boot 128mb  --> md1
2  /swap            --> md2
3 /                    --> md3

But each time just saying not loading - and tried rootdelay up to 2min without anyluck ?

What is wrong here
carse the RAID are working before ending the install process and rebooting!

Re: RAID problems

Have you added 'mdadm' to /etc/mkinitcpio.conf and rerun `mkinitcpio -pkernel26` before rebooting?

Re: RAID problems

Yes.

But I'm not shure where my errors where, but after reinstalling the system again this morning, ode to the benfit og 64bits system, it works after doing the whole creation from scratch the 4th time.

So It should be solved - allthough 1thing make no sense:
cat /proc/mdstat

Personalities : [raid1]
md4 : active raid1 sda4[0] sdb4[1]
      878980288 blocks [2/2] [UU]

md3 : active raid1 sdb3[1]
      89650624 blocks [2/1] [_U]

md2 : active raid1 sda2[0] sdb2[1]
      8000256 blocks [2/2] [UU]

md1 : active raid1 sda1[0] sdb1[1]
      128384 blocks [2/2] [UU]

I've tried adding the disk ? nope - won't work:
A fdisk -l show this

# fdisk -l

Disk /dev/sda: 1000.2 Gb, 1000204886016 byte
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 121601 cylinders

But cannot see any errors else where ?

As I see it - my sda3 disk aren't in the raid setup ?
I've tried:
# mdadm --add /dev/md3 /dev/sda3
mdadm: Cannot open /dev/sda3: Device or resource busy

But cannot add the drive till the RAID
