[solved] Automatically setup wireless connection (WPA encryption)

I was following the wiki but I get following error message ..

:: rangalonet up                                                                                                                                                                                        [BUSY]  - Authentication/association failed
                                                                                                                                                                                                        [FAIL]

I have tried manually with wpa_suppliant and the connection works, the ssid and password are correct.

Any suggestions ?

[EDIT:]
I am using wireless-wpa prifle  from the examples under /etc/network.d/examples. Is it correct ?

[PS:]
I am using netcfg-2.2.1-1

Re: [solved] Automatically setup wireless connection (WPA encryption)

This is now fixed.

I think the reason it was not workin was that I had the network cable connected, so may be there was a conflict. Now I have setup the profiles to connect to the wlan at boot time.

I think you should use wireless-wpa-config from the examples! Have you put NETWORKS=(your-net-profile) in /etc/rc.conf?

Edit: Too late.

That is available only in new in netcfg 2.5, may be its in testing. I have an older version as mentioned earlier.
