kde-snapshot repo

I had to remove the repo temporarily. SolidSnake is already uploading x86_64 build of 4.3.82 and I'm running i686 build and if it will compile over night I'll upload it on tomorrow morning (CET).

If you are new to this repo, please hold on. If you are just looking forward for update, please hold on too :-) Anyway i686 build always comes after x86_64 :-)

Great work guys, I really appreciate it. Allthough, I'm trying to move to a local kdesvn-build since I need updates even more often due to development problems.

I've a question: How did you ship around kde-workspace that plasmascript.py is usually installed into /usr?

Oh that's weird. I waited for that Dolphin fix, but

1)Dolphin still says 4.3.81
2)It crashes

Howdy. Newbie to Arch here. I was trying to install KDE from this repo tonight and the packages are failing, wanting qt-4.6-3 or higher. However, all I can find is the 4.6-2 version. Is there someplace else where I can find it?

I think the repository isn't complete at the moment - give them a little more time to get all the needed packages for 82 up.

I have error while startup and kde can't start at all — "Unknown hardware instructions". I was forced to fall back to the old KDE version.

Hey,

this time x86_64 packages are uilt and uploaded y me... So e careful! Its only a semi-official build

The packages aren't compiled againt the "new" boost in extra, but it is working fine so far with the new one.

This build is missing:
*kdeaccessibility
*kwebdev
*kcalc
*kdepim (big changes to akonadi)

AND !!! Its completly without patches, because the old ones seem to not apply anymore, we need to fix that in later releases !!! <-- there could be problems when using zsh as primary console!

Btw: I renamed the x86-64 to the old naming x86_64 ...

Hope that the will be not too much trouble with that build...

Oh, then, please inform ProgDan to change the first post temporarily, I got confused yesterday when it said that it couldn't find the repo.

And, are you going to upload the missing ones ? (especially kdepim ) ?

It should work since akonadi is the app built against boost which wasn't starting in the last build.

Well kdepim didn't build... but i am currently working on a (non snapshot) build. When the situation here is much better I will toalk with progDan. Maye we make something unusual and upload this one... But not before monday evening...

It really is,

I just compiled a slightly different commit... it was more luck that just had compiled a snapshot when the commit message came in. So there are maybe missing about 2-3 commits, nothing worth to make a complete new set of binary packages...

I still got (sadly) no build of kdepim, I looked a bit deeper in it and i am not sure if it is a problem with kdesupport - strigi we are using...

But we need more time to get that issue out of the world... Hope that I can upload some packages this night...

My Alt-Tab doesn't seem to work in the new build - the "kwin --replace &" trick seems to work to get Alt-Tab working, but seems to destroy my KDE session (no bar at the bottom, black desktop). Strange.

Also yes, I've noticed the KDE-PIM packages are missing, e.g.:

@Victor: As mentioned above - kdepim is not complete for now. The build is already running. The missing additional packages (Qt etc) were simply forgotten :-) I will upload them together with kdepim. They were not recompiled, you can safely use the current.
