ssh and avahi time out warning message

Hi there,
In my office network I am facing an issue using ssh with avahi daemon running. When ssh is trying to auto complete the host from the known_hosts I am getting a Time Out error message from avahi for some host in the network.

How can i tell avahi not to disturb when using ssh.
