Connection cut off until any key is pressed

Hi everybody,
I wrote about some strange freezes connected to the ethernet card of my fitpc in this post: http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=83421

Summarizing that, my "Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168B (rev 2)" was handled by the kernel module r8169 and caused complete computer freeze every 10 to 20 hours and when transferring large files at high speed (let's say 1 Mb/s).

The pc stopped freezing when I substituted the r8169 modules with r8168 provided by realtek, however now the network connection cut off sometimes (once a month) and every time the transfer rate is high until I press ANY key on the keyboard. This usually happens after  100 to max 500 Mb of data and after any key is pressed the transfer continue without problems for 100 to 500 Mb more, then it repeats again, and I'm able to transfer files by pressing random keys once a while.

Logs do not report anything about that.

Anyone suffered a similar problem? Any ideas?

Thanks
Pietro
