allright! found out the good news today. got rid of those nouveau drivers, all seems fine again with the nvidia drivers
time to play some opengl games

Yes, nvidia is fine now. 0 problems
Even the light tearing I have noticed in Nexuiz is gone with 190.53.

yeah. i couldn't play any opengl game for a while. even 2D opengl was painfully slow with the nouveau drivers. (0.1 fps or so)
