actually i have been using >xtail< ... but root-tail seems to be MORE comfortable.
also xtail is unmaintained for some years ...

The answer is in the picture. ede -> Equinox Desktop Environment, a small env built on an extended fltk(toolkit) the whole thing is just 1.3MB as package.

I see the value of something like this, and it doesn't look all that bad, but Windows gives me nightmares.  I fix about ten Windows computers per week.  It's a job that never ends.
