[SOLVED]Turn RAID 0 into RAID 1

Hello

I have two HDDs configured as software RAID 0. Is it possible to reconfigure them as RAID 1, without having to copy all the data onto a third drive, reconfigure, and then copy the data back?

Thanks

You might try an internet cache for the drive contents.....

Well, the content is about 1.1TB; besides, it would take aeons to copy - twice. smile So, should I understand that it's not possible?

No, it's not possible. RAID-0 stripes your data across both drives, so 50% of each file is on alternative disks.

Wiping one disk to make it a mirror (RAID-1) of the other will wipe out 50% of your data, and then you'll only have a mirror of the remaining 50%.
