Hi to all!
I'm a newbie in the Archlinux world, and i'm installing this magnific os reading the beginner's guide.
Yesterday the ping command worked, but now... it doesn't work. T_T
If I try to ping localhost, it works.
My pc is connected to the router by a cable connection.
If I run the "ifconfig" command, the output is:

Do you run the dhcp command or you have set the static ip?

Try if running dhcpcd as root solves the problem.

Can you ping the router's local IP addess (Example: 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 , etc) ?
Based on your output it appears you wouldn't be able to. That output indicates your connection isn't set up correctly (dhcp or static IP) or is physically disconnected.
